Wednesday, January 17, 2018 - Coming Soon!

Hello any and all!

A lot has happened since my last blog in March 2016, and I feel that returning here is like starting the jalopy in your garage after letting it sit for two winters. Will the engine turn, even after a battery charge?

Yes! That's what I'm telling myself, to be ever-optimistic, because in this case the keys are in my hand and online technology, unlike the V8 - would not have this concern if my metaphor were a Tesla, would I? - automatically updates itself.

As the title says, is coming soon (it's live now, if you like to see the engine being rebuilt in the garage, like diehards do)! It's my new writer's website aimed at pulling the life of 'The Eggman - he is everywhere!' into one spot, where it can be better understood. It also hocks my ware: Steve Eggleston -- writer for hire.

Having been on a two-year blog hiatus, this blog is not just like the jalopy in the garage, but the comic on a tiny dark stage seeking laughs from an empty audience. Noone is in the crowd, but here again technology again enters the picture.

Unlike Lenny Bruce flinging fingers, epitaphs, and one-liners at club faithfuls at 2 in the morning - gig done, who knew? - I benefit from the age of archive. So this blog to an empty room can later be viewed by anyone, or not.

Two years ago I blogged on the release of 2nd Edition of Conflicted, my fiction thriller debut that found so much critical acclaim and yet so few buyers. lol Is that the story of my life? Gosh, I hope not. But due to my non-exclusive partnership with Amazon, it is still available!

Yes, for £6.97 or $9.99 American, you can order yours today. If you wait, you will be able to buy it in ebook and hopefully, in the not too distant future, audiobook.

Since then, since two years ago, what are the highlights? Here they are in summation, with more soon to follow as this blog comes out regularly (in the Bob Lefsetz model of whenever it suits you but often enough to remain current).

The Food Mafia, requisitioned by my co-writer Jon Gordon, is now being repped by the legendary Peter Miller founder of Global Lion Management (1500 books, 27 movies) for worldwide literary rights. Follow the story on and embedded blog.

Conquering Your Adversities, requisitioned by my co-writer, Dr. Kenneth Polke, a memoir mixing the mafia, the NFL and dentistry (you have to read it to believe it, sort of Rudy meets Friday Night Lights with a dash of Kill the Irishman), is now available in hardback.

Flatline, requisitioned by co-writer Kevin Swann, a cyberthriller, is in the final edits.

We don't have a cover yet, but the requisitioned Ripley's Fast Diabetes-free Solution, by pharmacist Suzanne Ridley | with Steve Eggleston, is coming soon. It is a must for anyone who wants to live longer, be happier and reverse (or avoid) Type 2 Diabetes, obesity and heart disease.

A virtual tidal wave of other books will also soon be mentionable. Right now they are in the final editing stages - a drama in the Maldives, the British Wolf of Wall Street, a story of inspiration weaving Reggae and technology, more.

And before I leave the stage, I must add that in these two years I've become happily married to Dana Amma Day, founder and CEO of, a media company helping to create a positive world with positive news from around the world.

No encore, sorry! See you again soon.

"Conflicted" 2nd Edition on Sale now on Amazon Books

Hi Readers and Co-Writers!
I was honored to have legendary lit agent Peter Miller release the 1st Edition of "Conflicted" on his 21st Century Lion Books publishing platform via Amazon's "White Glove" Program.  Thank you, Peter!  It was a wonderful run.

I am now releasing the 2nd Edition of "Conflicted" on my own Eggman Global Books, Eggman Global Media and Eggman's Favz publishing platform collective, also via  At the beginning, "Conflicted" will be available in paperback and on ebook.  I am working on audio book as we "speak."

I make this pledge to anyone who buys the paperback version.  Send it to me and I'll happily sign it with a personal message to you or anyone to whom you might be gifting the book.

Since I last posted a blog, sorry for the long lapse, I was blessed to receive a resounding review from one of the best authors in thriller-writing today, John Lescroart.  John as many of you know, having elevated him their by purchasing and reading his books, is a 17x New York Times Bestseller (in the legal thriller genre).

Here's John's review of "Conflicted":

"Killer book.  I loved every page of it... CONFLICTED is a total winner on every level.  Great courtroom stuff, great characters, great plot, narrative mega-drive and - in Dave Splatter, P.I. - a stand-alone hero for the ages."

The Eggman Writes

The Eggman Writes is my new writer's blog, reflecting as it does the two sides of Steve Eggleston, aka The Eggman.

To understand these two sides, we need look no further than these two reviews of my debut legal thriller Conflicted.

The first only knows me only by my book, and keeps his review to the book. Here's the review by New York Times bestseller, former Editor-in-Chief of OMNI, and author of many stellar biographies, such as George Orwell: The Political Pen, Keith Ferrell:

“Steve Eggleston's Conflicted is a chilling, funny, moving, shocking thriller -- and Eggleston keeps every one of those elements in balance as he moves his story at breakneck pace through as delicious a set of complications, re-complications, and surprises as I've seen in a long time. Trip Splatter may well be the most unusual and distinctive investigator to be introduced this decade, and eagerly I look forward to his next adventure."

The other, James Dalessandro, has known me for nearly two decades, as a pal and comrade in arms, and used to teach screenwriting out of my living room at the Falling Star, my house pasted into the cliffs of Sausalito, below 16th Avenue. Here's his review, which as you can see addresses, not just the book, but the author himself:

"If the law ever produced a more colorful character than Steve Eggleston himself, I'd probably be afraid to meet him.  Eggleston has taken that colorful, irreverent personnae of his - and an encyclopedic knowledge of the law and the characters who pass through that suspense-filled world - and created a character as colorful and outrageous as his name:  Trip Splatter.  Conflicted is a roller coaster ride through the dark and twisted world of criminals and those who hunt them. -- James Dalessandro, author of Bohemian Heart and 1906"
I'm told and I read that writing blogs of this sort are a necessary part of the lexicon of a writer, in these times. I hope so, and I hope to impart from time to time a grain of wisdom to upcoming writers and readers, as I've certainly failed as many times as I've succeeded, equally spectacularly, thereby earning an avid listen.

Eggman's Favz Launches Global Blog - Subscribe Today

Blog -- Eggman's Favz!  The Eggman

The Eggman.  I feel like I've lived many lives, and many of you who choose to receive this Blog will know me from one, but not the other.  I've been a long-haired hippie, a war protester, an athlete, a close fan of the Ramones, an Ayn Randian, a leftist, a night-school law student working 3 jobs, a trial lawyer, a law Professor, a Law Book author & lecturer, a Business Affairs Executive, a movie producer, a music manager, a rock magazine President/COO, a photographer & freelance writer, a fiction & non-fiction author and screenwriter, and a media specialist, publicist, marketing guru and brand maven.  Eggmans Favz is thus a Blog that addresses, supports, and promotes, whatever is on my mind, lol, as taken from my many and diverse passions.  I hope that what I report and say will inspire you, anger you, and/or motivate you -- or, at least, interest you enough to keep you coming back for more, and offering your own two cents.

WorldShift and Noosphere are very strong, current interests of mine.  In a nutshell, WorldShift is a movement campaigning on behalf of the people and the earth, whose goal is to spearhead a global movement dedicated to establishing the foundation for a peaceful, just and sustainable world.  Noosphere, pronounced new-es-fear, is a sphere of human thought, the third in a series of global phases, the first being the geosphere (a world of inanimate objects), the second, the biosphere (a world of living things), and the third, the noosphere (a world whose biosphere is transformed by the interaction and complexities of advanced human intelligence, technology, and social networks).  A great recent book is that of Polly Higgens, a London-based planetary rights lawyer and Barrister, entitled "Eradicating Ecocide."   She is currently speaking in Astana, Kazakhstan, at the World Forum of Spiritual Culture, actor Adrian Brody also being one of the participants.

My man, Duncan Faure.  Duncan is the legendary singer-songwriter of South Africa's Rabbitt (his teen guitar-player was Trevor Rabin, who became guitarist for "YES") and Scotland's The Bay City Rollers / Rollers.  I manage him and he is my friend, and he lives up the street from me with his lovely wife Laurie and their two children and pug, Ringo.  At age 17, Dunx was running from 1000s of screaming teenage girls at airports around SA, especially Johannesburg.  By age 20, he was doing the same in the UK, where the Bay City Rollers rivaled the Beatles in popularity -- Roller Mania!  Dunx has just released his 28-song Anthology, and will soon release "Kick of the Rhino", a wholly original project.  Check him out at (pronounced 4-A), and watch for his 2011 Tour and some exciting new announcements -- Coming Soon!

The Arts Factory, Vegas.  One of my current passions is to be Co-Entertainment Director at Vegas' most magnificent, eclectic, ALL-AGES, art-crazed venue in Vegas.  It's at the heart of The Arts District, founded 14 years ago by artist-photographer Wes Isbutt and his wife, noted Graphic Artist Debra Heiser.  Wes and Debra have led the development and expansion of the Vegas Art District, and now his multi-plex housing 22 galleries, the Bar + Bistro Restaurant, and two live music patios, is about to Grand Open its new Urban Lounge... sometime in the next month.  Today, you can enjoy the 18B Music Festival and Octoberfest Beer Garden starting at 4 p.m., complete with 5 bands playing on an outdoor stage, FREE, and several dozens brewmeisters allowing unlimited sampling for $20.  Contact me for booking any cool live music show, art show, or otherwise.

Halloween Eve Costume Bash @ The Arts Factory.  Brought to you by Eggman Global, N.O.I.S.E., and Marc Cash, and boasting a frightening crematorium theme, complete with outdoor Fire Pit and Fire Spinners, the Arts Factory "Halloween Eve Costume Bash" will feature 3 live bands on the East Patio Stage (Columbyne, just back from the WARP TOUR, headliners AGE oV REASON, and inimitable DJ/Percussionist Marc Cash, w/ his CA$H IS KING & THE ROYAL COURT.  On the North Patio Stage, look for live art, face & body painters, feat. Areeya, Ashley Michaud, Augxillary, Damian Drake, Eddie Canumay, Madtam, Minjasassin & Rob Hester; Sleight of Hand, feat. Mike Duro; Fire Spinners, feat. Dean Crum & Dusty Plains. Also enjoy the mind-boggling Drum Circle, Vendors, DJs, Prizes for Best Costumes, Drink Specials & More -- Hosted by Yours Truly, The Eggman.  Buy tickets online or from participants in advance for $10, or at the Door for $15.  ALL-AGES, so be sure to bring your I.D. to get a booze braclet.  Tix Link:

Conflcited.  I'm extraordinarily excited to announce that I have finished my first fiction novel, a crime-courtroom thriller called "Conflicted."  It is not in stores yet, or available online, but if you would like to read an advance copy for pre-release fan input, feel free to contact me.  It's an twisted premise, about a hot-shot, aspiring San Francisco attorney being called upon to defend his younger, rocker brother, for murdering his own law partner, set in glorious San Francisco.  With twists and turns reminiscent of "Mystic River" = "Primal Free," with a sprinkle of "Chinatown," it plumbs the depths of loyalty and brotherly love, from the POV of the attorney's best friend and crack investigator, Trip Splatter.  Hopefully the beginning of a Splatter Crime Series.  Also, should anyone know of any good crime genre lit agents, I'd certainly appreciate your passing their contact info my way.

Eggman Global - Media, Music & Film.  My latest brainchild, Eggman Global provides a fantastic platform for all I do, which covers the gamut of the branding, media, music, politics, writing, booking, promoting, special events and entertainment.  I've teamed up with ace photographer Joe Connell, and brilliant videographers from Zoom Productions/StrippedDownTV, to deliver spot-on branding, publicity, PR, social marketing, and special events, such as Red & Black Carpets.  I can work with any budget, and give you more for your buck than anyone else.  I can do that, because of my history in the game, and the hundreds if not thousands of solid relationships I have worldwide.  Indeed, I can honest say that 99% of the time, I'm one call away from most anything you'd need.

That's it for now.  Have a rockin' day!

Livin' every day like they all were one, The Eggman - He's Everywhere!
